What is Pastel Black?
| |
Pastel/Black is the ability of duality. It is both ends of the spectrum, yet never really being white and pure, and never really being grey, a mixture of the ends. It is the duality of charm and grace and love and life contained in an admixture with the dark and depressing and the tears and the pain. In other words... to love flowers, but to love them more when they're dead and dried. That is the spirit of pastel/black. |
literature
| | How do you get to know a person, other than going through their bathroom cabinets when they're not looking? Go through the stuff they hold bedside. In my case, you'll find dried flowers and candles and most of all, books and paper. Of Anne Rice, George Orwell, Aldous Huxley, the catholic Bible (don't get me wrong, my dears, it does not mean I am religious), thesaurus, and most of all, pensand paper for my own literature in the making. | |
